SportyCamps Parents Information
SportyCamps takes the issue of safety for both its players and staff seriously.

Due to the age range and mixed ability at the SportyCamps, at times it may be necessary to divide the participants by age, ability and size.

This division aims to ensure that situations do not arise where children are mismatched physically and aims to lessen the risk of serious injury.

Each SportyCamp coach
Is CRB checked to an Enhanced level.
Holds Qualifications in their sport.
Undertakes the NSPCC/UK Sport Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop.
Completes First Aid training.
Participates in Coach Training relevant to their sport and latest research.
Signs up to a Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics.
Furthermore, SportyCamps recognises the roles and responsibilities of government agencies in relation to safeguarding children/young people and promoting their welfare, and is fully committed to complying with the procedures of the Local Safeguarding Children's Boards.
